This 3-step philanthroparty guide gets you started.  Add a creative twist to any gathering to make giving part of the fun.

Step 1:

PIck a cause

What cause speaks to your heart? What do you want to fix? It might be in your community, or it might be on the other side of the world. Big or small, it all matters. Especially if it matters to you.

Step 2:

Pick a date

Look at your calendar. Turn something you’re already planning into a chance to help your cause. Birthdays, sports events, holidays, or even a simple Saturday afternoon with friends can be transformed for ultimate social impact.

Step 3:

Pick an activity

Be inspired by the theme of your chosen charity! Plan activities, recipes, and decorations that relate to the cause. If you love animals and you're having a pool party, have guests bring in old towels to donate to shelters and bake doggie treats! Check out this DIY video!

What are we up to lately?

On February 18th, a team of Warriors, led by Nicholas Y and Jasper C will be heading to Tijuana to finish building a dorm that will house 34 children in an over-crowded orphanage.  We have been hosting bus trips to this orphanage to play with the kids, and give the staff a day off, but these boys wanted to do more. They have already raised $8,000.00 through bake sales, restaurant partnerships and they teamed up with Canadian warrior Avery G. and his siblings who raised $2,000.00 selling roasted corn from their farm. Please consider making a tax deductible donation on our donation icon. Specify this project to help the boys reach their goal.

So many loyal LemonAID Warriors helped me share the #UpForSchool petition at schools, rock concerts, conferences and events.  It all lead up to co-hosting a historic Town Hall event.  I handed off the petition with 10 MILLION signatures to United Nations leaders during the Sustainable Development Summit. Your voices demanding global access to education were heard by the most powerful leaders in the world!  Special thanks also to my co-host Rainn Wilson for making me feel comfortable onstage, and to Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi for hand delivering my personal plea to the Unite Nations world leaders.
