When my busiest Canadian Warrior took his passion for hockey and turned it into a "PhilanthroParty Ice Dream" came true. Declan can't imagine his life without skating and when he found out that most of the kids who hang out at Kerr Street Mission have never skated, he really wanted to do something about it. His dream was that everyone gets a chance to skate. Declan and his mom collected used skates from all of their hockey team's families. The rink where his team practices donated ice time and coaches showed up to teach these first time skaters how to skate. Everyone went home with a pair of skates and a huge smile.
